Start/Finish at Craigieburn Reserve, Tanner Rd. (opposite No. 102)
A 3 hour rogaine on the lower slopes of Flagstaff and Nicholls Creek. There is plenty of scope for teams and individuals to go hard for 3 hours and for families, teams and individuals who fancy a more leisurely adventure.
Solos and teams welcome - everyone must carry a working cellphone. Individuals must carry a whistle. Teams must stick together.
This event will use answer sheets so bring a pencil to write down the answers.
Registration and map handout: 10:00 am.
Please arrive and complete registration by 10:30 am.
Briefing: 10:50 am.
Start: 11:00 am.
Finish: 2:00 pm or earlier (penalties are 30 points per minute (or part thereof) late.
Sturdy footware is a must and a compass is handy. Bring all the appropriate clothing and nourishment for the whole event.
Please take care parking around the Craigieburn reserve and remember Tanner Rd is a bus route. If you are late you may have to park quite a distance away.
If the weather is so bad we need to postpone the event, the website and facebook page will be updated by 8:00 am on the day.
